Lustau Solera Reserva Puerto Fino Sherry

Description
A truly great wine matured in the town of Puerto de Santa María, considered by many experts to be the home of the finest classic fino. The flagship of the House of Lustau; a dry elegant Sherry, light and smooth with just a hint of the sea and attractive fruit. Very fresh, with a slight taste of tangy yeast. The pronounced flor bouquet is due to Puerto Fino's double maturation under fresh flor.   Awarded Gold Medal at IWC 2005.
When To Drink it
As an apéritif or as a wine with food. Delicious with shellfish and other seafood.

Description

Description

A perfect dry apéritif, but also serve with "tapas", with fresh seafood, oysters and white fish dishes.

Description
A Palo Cortado brings together the finesse and delicacy of an Amontillado on the bouquet with the richness on the palate of an Oloroso. Description
A rich concentrated wine which is classically dry with hints of sweetness, its amber gold colour and flavours of rich bitter chocolate and baked chestnuts leave an intense lingering aftertaste. This wine finds great appeal with the connoisseur and is appreciated by all oloroso lovers.   Awarded the Sherry Trophy at the IWC 2004 and Gold Medals in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Description
Almost black in colour. A pronounced and delicious bouquet of the essence of sweet raisins. The taste is very sweet, smooth, pronounced and delicous just like dried raisins or sweet grape juice.  Awarded Gold Medal at IWC 2006.
When To Drink it
This is a very sweet dessert wine consumed on its own or with rich, fruity puddings. Also classically used as the sauce for one of the famous desserts of Jerez: vanilla ice cream with Pedro Ximénez Sherry.

Lustau East India Solera

Description

In centuries gone by, casks of sherry were lashed to ships sailing for the Indies as ballast, and were found to develop an extraordinary smoothness and complexity.  Lustau has revived this style of sherry in the East India wine.   Unforgettable flavours of raisins, candied peel and nuts.  Robert Parker's comment: "Nutty, sweet, crème brûlée smell".  Awarded Silver Medal at IWC 2004.

Description
Probably the world's finest vinegar, it is made exclusively from sherry wine and is matured in oak casks in the traditional solera system.This is a traditionally concentrated vinegar, pungent on the nose and very intense to taste.

Use sparingly as a dressing with the finest olive oils, in salads, or in cooking.

Description

Lustau Solera Reserva “Tintilla De Rota” (USA only)

Description
A unique wine produced from grapes grown in the sandy soils around the town of Rota, in the Jerez production zone. Viscous, with an unmistakeable dark reddish colour. Redolent of ripe fruit. Rich, sweet, velvety and soft in the mouth, well balanced, with a long finish, showing the wine's great age.

When To Drink it
With rich desserts, cakes and pastries, or pour a little over the best quality vanilla ice cream. This wine can also accompany a cheese course, or simply serve as a digestif for the sweet-toothed.
