Export Manager

Jane travels extensively worldwide, representing Lustau in her role as Export Manager.

Jane was born in Yorkshire in 1950 and developed a passion for Spain and all things Spanish very early in life. This influenced Jane's further education which included studying for an International Secretarial Diploma, specialising in Spanish and Economics. After studying in San Sebastian in Northern Spain in the early 1970s Jane went to live in Southern Spain where she has worked in the Sherry trade for more than 30 years.

Jane joined Emilio Lustau SA in 1986 with specific responsibilities on the export side of Lustau's business as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. In 1996 she took up the position of Export Manager and has since travelled extensively in representation of Lustau, using her knowledge of Sherry and her long experience of the trade to introduce Lustau's unique wines to both consumers and trade.

Whilst living in Spain Jane met her husband, Francisco, a 'Jerezano', who is also indirectly involved in the Sherry trade as an electronics engineer with a bottle supplier to the Sherry bodegas. Jane and Francisco live happily in Jerez with their two young children.
